How
many families are there?
About 18-20.
Are you
an active group?
We are very active.
We post on our Yahoo group, but get together more frequently to do lots of fun things so that our children can have the opportunity
to build strong meaningful relationships. Also, we get together so that the support can happen among the parents as well.
What
do you do?
We do field trips, shared
lessons, crafts, game days, park days etc. We welcome ideas and if there is an activity you are interested in, please
feel free to jump in! We want this to be a positive experience for the entire family.
This group is meant to be a resource for homeschooling
families seeking educational and social opportunities that are easily found in a group setting.
This group is not internet based, which is why you
must attend a Game Day before being invited to the yahoo group.
We ask that everyone use manners and common courtesy
when interacting with each other.

Suggestions
on how to use this group
The families in the group are welcome to help plan and co-ordinate the activities that we do, that way we all
get to do things that we would like. Gatherings at a local park or a monthly playgroup, field trips, a co-op or anything
that you feel your family would enjoy in a group setting are just some of the wonderful things we welcome.
Also, we have established a Yahoo! e-group specifically for the purpose of sharing ideas and planning events. It
is a great way to keep track of activities. To join the e-group you must attend an activity or meeting first.
If there is a question about what is being asked of you by the school system as
a homeschooler feel free to e-mail us. We will respond as soon as possible.
